![]() ![]() Has anyone else messed with this type of setup using the cargo roads in the industry dlc areas? The only disadvantage is it has to be very flat but my island map is pretty flat so I am Breaking my normal rules of no terraforming to use leveling tools only. The main airport entrance is across the river and connected via metro I had to fix the river after I put in the airport area. On 1 side is a small plane terminal with a 50u runway, another side has medium planes with a 100u runway, and the third side against a river is a 150u runway with large plane terminal. The airport has about 50% of its space as a large cargo airport. I will share pics in a few days, I am on an airplane to Seattle right now. They all transfer to 1 that goes to the airport, so all trains leaving are full. I have 5 train stations around it for loading. So far, one full farm (large area with about 100+ small fields and a good amount of factories) area is completed with cargo roads. I even put my pedestrian service points in the airport. My new airport is very impressive with 6 trains and 24 connections to different industries. These can both be installed outside of the airport once unlocked. I have started experimenting with using airport cargo heavy roads in my industry areas with airport trains since they load quicker/smoother and have double tracks.
